Equalizer Brings Flash Loans to Optimism Users with New Integration
We are thrilled to announce that Equalizer is now integrated with the popular Ethereum Layer 2 scaling solution Optimism. The integration enables Optimism users to take advantage of opportunities offered by Equalizer, including arbitrage, collateral swapping, liquidations, and portfolio rebalancing.
Optimism is the first Ethereum Layer 2 to develop an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible Optimistic Rollup solution. The blockchain is a Layer 2 scaling solution that supports a wide range of Dapps built on Ethereum, including DeFi protocols, NFT projects, bridge protocols, wallets, tools, portfolio trackers, and DAOs.
Equalizer’s key offering is flash loans, which are a relatively new form of uncollateralized lending within the DeFi ecosystem. Flash loans have compelling use cases in DeFi as they offer arbitrageurs a unique funding source for quick trades.
Equalizer has a stated vision of making flash loans accessible for everyone. The integration with Optimism opens the doors for Equalizer to offer flash loan lending services to some of the biggest DeFi platforms in terms of total value locked (TVL) including Uniswap and 1Inch.
