March Monthly Report
Dear Equalizers,
We are one month into the spring season and time is passing by too quickly! To match the season, our plans are springing to life too and we enjoy a busy time with a lot of projects and news for you!
Spring fever or not, the flash loans volume has reached $ 2.000.000!
The Equalizer team is continuing the work to build additional services to meet market needs, and let us tell you that it will be massive!
Now, about the updates we can share at the moment:
Development
Update 1: Integration with Optimism
Equalizer is now integrated with the popular Ethereum Layer 2 scaling solution Optimism. The integration enables Optimism users to take advantage of opportunities offered by Equalizer, including arbitrage, collateral swapping, liquidations, and portfolio rebalancing.
Update 2: New DEX listings
Equalizer Finance’s native token EQZ has also been listed on two new DEXes on the blockchains mentioned. On the Polygon chain, EQZ has been listed on QuickSwap, an Automated Market Maker on the Polygon Network. And on the Optimism chain, EQZ is now listed on Uniswap, the largest decentralized exchange.
Update 3: New bridges added to the website
The Equalizer Bridge was released in May 2021. Back then, the bridge only supported the transfer of EQZ tokens between the Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain (BSC) main networks. However, with the most recent development, users can now transfer EQZ tokens between Ethereum and Optimism, and Ethereum and Polygon chains as well. All bridges have been added to the website in a dedicated menu — Bridges.
Marketing
Update 1: Telegram AMA with Polygon
New month, new AMA! Equalizer was invited by Polygon’s Matic News community to hold an AMA and discuss the power of flash loans within their Telegram community.
The whole Equalizer Core Team participated and we received an unexpected number of great questions. As a result, we selected just a a couple of them, based on what we thought it would be an interesting read for our followers.
Update 2: SEO strategy
This month we worked on designing a SEO strategy for Equalizer as we think it will serve as a point of differentiation. In the next couple of months we will focus on creating great content to rank better in Google for more different topics and keywords while also using it as content for YouTube. We already have two new articles to share with you next week!
Update 3: Staff
This month one member of the marketing team left the project, but a great marketing advisor joined us so we are very excited to start working together!
Update 4: Rebranding
As it all starts with good branding, we decided it was high time Equalizer got the identity it deserved. This will be the first step into executing the marketing strategy for this year. We are now reviewing branding agencies and design processes in order to select the best solution in terms of budget and time for execution.
Education
Update: Flash Loans Academy
In March we continued the Academy classes meant to make Flash Loans available to everyone. We held two lectures under the Academy in March, focused on flash loans use cases and Solidity basic notions. Both classes included a hands-on workshop held by our colleague Stefan, Lead Developer.
